About

The Columbia University Club was founded in January 2006. Local chapters currently exist in Berlin, Düsseldorf / Cologne, Frankfurt, and Munich.

Alumni are invited to organize and participate in activities and events at both the local and national levels.

Our Mission:

The Columbia University Club of Germany seeks to create a true Columbia community in Germany that:

  1. engages the diverse alumni population via national and regional academic, social, cultural and business events;
  2. strengthens the connection to and maintains a dialogue with Columbia University; and
  3. encourages its members to contribute ideas that will sustain the dynamic alumni community throughout Germany.

Membership in the Columbia University Club of Germany is open to alumni from all schools of Columbia University as well as former faculty members living in Germany.

As a member of the Columbia University Club of Germany you have the opportunity to network with fellow alumni and to participate in Club events and activities. Our events include business, cultural, academic and leisure events that are both intellectually stimulating and fun. Through our strong and ongoing relationship with Columbia, we are able to keep our members informed and updated with important Columbia University news. We work together with Columbia University in organizing lectures and events, are informed when professors are visiting or traveling in Germany and make sure members can take full advantage of the alumni services offered by Columbia.

The Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) is a global network connecting Columbians of all schools to one another and to the University. It links over 300,000 alumni through more than 100 regional clubs and shared interest groups, online resources, and over 200 programs around the world each year.

Wherever you are in the world, and whatever you're passionate about, find your Columbia community at alumni.columbia.edu/clubs.
